Jessi Connolly is just a lady who’s been sincerely messed up (in a good way) by the grace of God. She received the gospel as a teenager, married her high school sweetheart at the ripe age of twenty, had three precious and precocious kiddos very closely together and has been blogging her way through all of it.
She has a passion for imparting grace to women through her words in real life and specifically online, as she’s seen that it’s a super quick way to encourage and speak life and connect with other women. In her personal life she likes going on dates with her pastor husband – Nick, playing house with her daughter – Glory, and watching her two boys – Elias and Benjamin climb trees in the front yard. You can often find her spending time with her church family, living on her front porch, thrift shopping, messing up baking experiments, drinking coffee, running quite slow, and wearing red lipstick. She currently lives in Indiana, but her heart is sprinkled all over the US due to various moves – mostly in Seattle and North and South Carolina.
Her blog, Naptime Diaries has evolved from a family blog/desperate outlet during a season of learning to parent three kids under three and into a quest to minister to women right where they are. She attempts to do so with silly stories, iphone self portraits, biblical encouragement, and quite a few true stories told in an attempt to point to Jesus. She has also an online shop where she sells scripture prints and other goodies.
Jessi is thrilled about working with the women on The Influence Conference and sees how the Lord has perfectly ordained this time for this group of women. She is so excited to share what the Lord has taught her about speaking life where you are through the lens of 1 Peter 3:4. She believes that surely “quiet” doesn’t need to be a dirty word and if our Father wants us to be gentle and quiet, it means He sure doesn’t want us to be passive or silent.
Hayley Morgan loves summertime, football, a good book, and a great adventure. Sharing a home with three tiny boys and one very handsome husband is a complete joy for her. She blogs at the lifestyle blog Tiny Twig to inspire women to create lives of more passion and less fuss. She also wrote the popular e-book The No Brainer Wardrobe to help women simplify and enjoy their clothes. Hayley is completely passionate about women knowing they are enough in Christ, their lives don’t have to be overly stressful, and the life they are creating is precious and completely beautiful. Our trials and imperfections only lead us to lean more on the greatness of our God.
Hayley’s passion for sharing the Good News via social media has all to do with the idea that the Gospel is spread through storytelling–and blogging is the modern memoir. She believes we are living in a unique age where women can communicate freely and openly, able to connect with other women regardless of geography.
Hayley is also so excited that blogging can also provide an awesome income to free up your family’s resources to minister more readily. Whether it be funding ministries you support, saving to adopt a child, or simply moving toward your family’s dreams–blogging can be a part or full-time income. She’s passionate about helping women move in that direction, if the Lord is leading their family that way.
