One of our lovely community leaders, Rachael, came up with an awesome idea for all of us to communicate on a more personal level to create organic meet-ups, discuss transportation options, find roommates, and connect pre-conference. She started a facebook group intended for all of YOU. It’s a place for you to use your voice, create relationships, and plan ahead before our big weekend in October.
The facebook group has already helped many women find roommates, create carpools, and plan some dates to meet up before the conference. Some speakers are also asking attendees to post any questions they have about certain blog topics so they can better serve you during their sessions. Hop on board and plan a coffee date with people you’ve been wanting to meet in person during Influence!

Just a quick question…. how long will it take to get approved for the group? And what your FB name isn’t the same as the registration name? or blog name for that matter?

Hi! I work with Center for Global Impact (www.myCGIstory.org) in Greenwood, IN. We’re a faith-based relief and development non-profit whose current focus is to train at-risk girls in Cambodia to sew and cook. CGI also provides the market for their fair trade purses, bags, scarves etc. We’re thinking of sending some of our staff to the conference.
