We’ll be doing a little blog series this week about the things you should know concerning the Influence Conference. These posts are geared towards women already attending and women who are still on the fence. We’ll be discussing topics about how the Influence Conference is meant to build community, the worth of its investment in your life, and how purposeful (and fun!) your conference experience will be with us in Indianapolis.
We know there are women that want to come to the Influence Conference but most likely won’t for various reasons. If you are that woman, we would love for you to hear our voice, our vision for this conference, and why we want you with us in October:
If you are still undecided, what is keeping you from attending the conference? Is it money-related? Is it fear of not finding your place in community? Is it being unsure whether or not your voice has influence? Is it because you hate stripes and don’t want to wear a striped outfit to the Stripes Party? (Kidding.)
One thing we’ve decided to do in order to help those who are still on the fence about attending is to not raise ticket prices for the conference. That means they will stay at $200 per ticket (instead of $250). We don’t want to hold anyone back from being able to attend the conference for reasons related to money.
As entrepreneurs, writers, business women, wives, mothers, and students, we understand the sacrifice of investing your hard-earned income into something that may seem intangible. It’s hard to invest towards a dream that still seems fuzzy or a goal that is still somewhat unclear. You may know that God wants you to use your online voice and business for Him, but aren’t quite sure what that looks like in the big scheme of life.
This is why the Influence Conference was created: to guide you in finding your purpose and the plan that God has for your business, blog, and everyday life. Our vision is that every women comes with a desire to learn how to use their gifts to spread the Gospel, and leaves feeling energized, equipped, and connected as a tribe of Believers willing to help each other pursue that calling on their lives. This is why we want you there.
Stay tuned for more things you should know concerning the Influence Conference this week. Tomorrow, we’ll be sharing some exciting news concerning the gorgeous hotel amenities and fun weekend activities.
For those of you who are attending the Influence Conference: our community leaders are hosting a blog link-up party on Tuesday in order to promote community and get to know each other better before the conference. We’ll share blog links throughout the day through Twitter so you can link-up your own post for the party. It should be a lot of fun! Also, we just sent out our first Influence Conference Newsletter to all attendees. If you did not receive an email, please contact us to make sure we have your correct email address.

Yes, the Stripes party is a big deal for me.=) I have no stripes, and actually had to finally break down a buy some for the party. I know, some would find that hard to believe, but I am so NOT into stripes. Oh well.
I think it’s great that you guys are being so accommodating! I really, really, REALLY hope to be able to attend next year. I wish you all a fabulous time. :)
So excited about the conference AND the stripes party :)

Looking forward to finding the information I may have missed. And hoping the post on the hotel will motivate me to finally make my reservation! :)
Its a great post. Make your reservation!
I have been seriously considering this but still need to discuss it with my husband. Would it be possible to find out the schedule times? i.e. breakfast, session times, etc? You see I won’t be staying in town as we live in Kokomo which is only about a 45 minutes drive from The Fashion Mall… (and to think it is my favorite mall!!)
I am still praying for God to make a way where there is no way! I SO want to be there, the conference looks fabulous!
Blessings as you prepare and ready everything :)
